Our Building

COCA’s accessible, state-of-the-art building is a house of the people. In our historic Erich Mendelsohn-designed building, now named the Kuehner West Wing, and Ferring East Wing, we welcome diverse, multigenerational audiences for classes, camps, exhibitions, and performances. Our building is a gathering space for the whole community.

COCA was founded in 1986, after the B’nai Amoona synagogue was transformed into a community-based visual and performing arts center.

Completed in early 2020, the Ferring East Wing meets COCA’s growing performance and studio needs and expands opportunities to host local and touring visiting artists.
