Artistic Director of Theatre
Will is a theatre artist and scholar with a background in acting, directing, playwriting, and producing. His work has been featured on stages across the country, and he is the proud recipient of three St. Louis Theatre Circle Awards. He recently directed COCA’s production of SIX: Teen Edition and continues to serve on COCA’s Theatre faculty. Other regional companies he has performed with include ERA, Insight Theatre, Max & Louie Productions, Mustard Seed Theatre, The New Jewish Theatre, SATE, Stray Dog Theatre, and Variety Theatre where he was a proud member of their annual inclusive musical for over seven years.
He previously served as COCA’s Director of COCAbiz, where he developed and facilitated professional development workshops using the arts to a variety of corporate and nonprofit partners, including Bayer, BJC HealthCare, Comcast, Commerce Bank, Delta Dental, Edward Jones, LauchCode, The SoulFisher Ministries, Starkloff Disability Institute, and TEDxStLouis. Under his leadership, the program saw an expansion of partnerships to increase access for nonprofit and community organizations as well as the launch of a new equity-centered curriculum around social justice and belonging for all communities.
In 2020, he became one of the youngest selected for FOCUS Leadership St. Louis. Will earned an MA in Theatre and Performance Studies and an MA in Nonprofit Management from Washington University in St Louis. An alumnus of the Fulbright Program, he often teaches courses on theatre and performance studies at several area universities.
