For Pre-Professional Artists

Students of all backgrounds look to COCA’s Pre-Professional Division (PPD) for the training and inspiration they need to pursue their passion for the arts. COCA’s dance, theatre, and voice programs prepare young artists to discover and achieve more than they’ve ever imagined.

From training with professional guest artists and unforgettable performance opportunities to individualized career guidance, we offer a nurturing path for every student based on their own aspirations, ideas, and perspectives.

Every Pre-Professional Division senior has graduated with post-secondary plans for college or professional training. Many are the first in their families to attend college.

Students can participate in up to two Pre-Professional Division companies across all disciplines per year. An 85% minimum attendance rate is required to participate and perform.
